The whole attendant line just reminded me of how controlling the whole stupid cult is. Talk to who we say you can talk to, look where we tell you to look. And the self righteousness - to try and hide or silence anyone who is different.

I think all of us had different experiences and are at different points in our recovery. I am all for anyone finding their way to healing and peace.
For some protesting might be that path. It wasnât for me, but if it helps those doing the protesting, then they should do it.
i know bad cops exist in many cities.
i know some cops who arenât âbadâ but do have an attitude.
however, i prefer to have law and order as opposed to chaos.
Yes, most of them do care about the communities they police, even though they see a lot of people at their worst.

I can understand somewhat. When I had surgery I got a card from a witness I havenât heard from in almost 20 years. (At least I really did have something going on)
The thought was nice but that whole life is a chapter I have closed and will not allow it to be reopened no matter how well intentioned someone is. I didnât respond at all because a Witness has nothing to offer by allowing them into my life.

i knew of certain jws that had to be counseled many times because they refused to regularly bathe, wash their hair or use deodorant.
and itâs not just witnesses.
For my job I travel a lot. There was a flight once with a man so smelly the passengers were all putting peppermint oil under their nose to make the stench bearable. It was the most awful flight experience. He was a white guy with dreadlocks and apparently a habit of not bathing.
As far as at the KH I think most of the problem came from people not dry cleaning their clothes often enough. I used to just wash my dry clean only clothes on hand wash with Woolite.

Yes - I am so thankful to live in the USA where I have every right, every freedom, every possibility as person could have.
To me itâs not about politics or any of that stuff, itâs about being thankful for my freedom.
